Error starting simulation with Artemis 8 years 5 months ago #21807

Hi,I'm new using ARTEMIS. Once I have created the geometry file and the boundary file with BlueKenue, I try to execute artemis.py but it don't even start to simulate.
Moreover, it don't indicates which is the error or why it is not simulating.

If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate that.

PD: I tryed with some extra examples and ARTEMIS works with no problem and gives a successfuly result.

Hello,

The information you have provided is not enough to see what is wrong. Can you provide more information (cas file, geo gile, cli file, fortran file etc)?

Regards,
Costas

Hi

Without any other information, it's hard to say where the problem comes from.
In such case, please attach your files (zipped) in order to let us try to reproduce your problem.
Anyway, I see v6p1 in the listing so maybe you could start by update your version for the latest one v7p1

Regards
Christophe

Hi, thanks for your answer.
I attach the geometry file, cas, fortran and boundary conditions file, as you have already asked. If you could take a look I would really appreciate it.

Answering to c.coulet I couldn't install the version v7p1 because it finally end in error after downloading.

Thank you

Regards

I tested your case and obtain the same kind of result.
Computation seems to stop without any information

After a quick look to your steering file I think there is some parameters which are not correct.
Start with the steering file of an example and change it progressively

I found it
you built a wrong boundary condition file...
I don't know why but you defined all the solid boundaries as liquid
let them as solid (code 2 2 2) and just set the liquid to code 1 1 1

With this change, the model run on my computer

Regards

PS: I will keep this model as I know very well Rosas Harbour... :P
