Is there a way in Blue Kenue to maintain the position of nodes defined as hard lines when running the auto-adjust nodes?

I find that the auto-adjust nodes cleans up many of my mesh quality indicators (min area, min/max angles) but in changing the position of my hard lines notes it increases my volumetric error.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Patrick,

The Laplacian smoothing respects the position of hard nodes and hardline geometry. It relies on the presence of the "NodeType" attribute.

Of course this attribute is not available once you have saved the mesh to a Selafin file.

You should always keep the t3m file around so you can go back and make this type of adjustment.

Thanks, I was adjusting the mesh in the SELAFIN format which caused my problems. No problems when I adjusted it in the T3 Mesh with the NodeType attribute.
