I have a result file from the simulation of a floodwave. I would like to save / present the waterdepth over the time as a video and put an orthophoto behind the results.

As the wave moves through the area, there are a lot of dry nodes - varying with each saved timestep.

Is there a way in BK to hide those unused nodes, so that only the wave is showing, and not the whole computational mesh?

I tried starting with the legend at e.g. 0.25 m, but that is not hiding the unused mesh elements. In a GIS I would assign a transparent color to the lowest legend class, but that also does not seem to be possible in BK?

Hi st3255,

Use the "Filled Contours" rendering style.
The bottom level of the colour scale provides the cutoff threshold.
The "Clip Contours" option toggles rendering the areas below the threshold on and off.

Hope this helps... Martin
