Hi,

I could not compile my "old" v6p1 fortran files with the new v6p2 version I have installed, and I have finally realized that some of the subroutines I was using in these fortran files have been modified in v6p2 (i.e. they now take more parameters than they used too). This modification was not mentioned in the history record usually located at the beginning of the subroutine file. I think it would be useful to indicate it even if I understand it is a lot of work.
The subroutines I mention are Sisyphe bedload_main and bedload_evol

Thank you
Caroline

Hi Caroline,
from last version (6.2) we started to put attention to the description of the subroutines in the header of the file (modifications from previous version, etc.).
We'll note your remark regarding, e.g. the change in the number of input/output parameter in a subroutine (this could be useful also for all modules).

Many thanks,

Pablo

Just to let you know that with SVN you can see the full history of any file/folder (for example 'show log' in tortoise SVN). You can also display the exact modifications in the code between two revisions of a file.

This is one of the reason we advise using SVN rather than downloading the zip file: it is a much more powerful way of managing code and sharing development information.

Please let me know if this helps.
