I am not an engineer but have extensive experience using models such as River2D to relate hydrodynamic modeling outputs (modeled and measured water depths and velocities)with fish suitability indexes and a resulting estimation of potential habitat. Are any of the software/code modules in TELEMAC/MASCARET capable of similar modeling efforts?

Hello,

it has been a long time since you asked. Just in case you did not get the answer through the website or the wiki, the TELEMAC system can do what you use to do with River2D.

Further, because it is open source, anyone can add modules and we would be happy to capture your knowledge and codes to add on the value of the system. Last year we introduced an oil spill module and a dredger simulator module. Please do not hesitate to participate and contact the consortium.

Regards,
Sébastien.
