Mat65	Hello, when I launch the calculation of my project, I obtain the following error : "Negative cross-section MAJEUR #31". I've checked this section and nothing is negative. Do somebody know how to solve this error ? Thank you Mathieu Attachments: PB_Mascare...ifXS.png (30KB)

Bonjour Mr. Coulet,
Mon nom est Ramiro Vargas, Je travaille pour Hydro-Québec.
Présentement je travaille sur un projet de rupture de barrage et je suis dans l'étape de calibration du modèle et simulation de conditions initiales.
Cependant, lorsque j'essaie de faire ma simulation avec l'option Type de débordement progressif Lit majeur, Fudaa me donne le message d'erreur suivant:
Negative cross-section DE STOCKAGE # 83 Check for possible cusps.
Lorsque J'active la'option Type de débordement progressif Lit majeur ET Zone de stockage, le logiciel performe la simulation sans problème.
Je vous envoie mon fichier .masc.

c.coulet OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 3722 Thank you received: 1031	Hi Sorry for the late reply I just had a look to your case I suspect you don't use the latest version (3.6) of Fudaa-Mascaret (with Mascaret 8.1.4) as it works on mine. This was a feature which as been corrected one years ago as there was a bug found in a case on the Loire river where the tide was dumped even there was no overflow in the major bed... Regards

Hi!
I'm doing a dam break simulation and I'm getting some problems. I joined the .masc file, could you please take a look of that?
There are 2 dams, the upstream dam at abcisse 351831 and the downstream dam at abcisse 363683.
The problem I got is after the dam upstream breaks. There is about 45 meters of level diference between this dam and the cross section located 20 meters immediately downstream...I see some instabilities before and after the dam breaks...I tried to put the downstream section far from the dam, I rised the levels of this section to reduce de big level difference...but nothing works...same problems...
do you have an idea on how to model this kind of geometry?
