Hi,

I tried to perform unsteady computations through the Python API:
mascaret.compute(t_0, t_end, time_step)

With Python API
I found that some combinations of the parameters (t_0, t_end, time_step) makes Mascaret raise the following error:
CALCUL_MASCARET - REZO - Error with the linear solver DGBSV
In the attached example, I fixed e.g. t_0=0.0 and timestep=0.1, with the following values of t_end:
  • t_end=0.9: OK
  • t_end=1.0: Mascaret crashes
  • t_end=1.1: OK

With Mascaret alone
I also performed the same computation on the interval [0.0, 1.0] with a timestep of 0.1 with Mascaret alone, and Mascaret finishes without raising any error: I guess there is a problem somewhere in the API code.

Find attached my case and my scripts.
I am using Mascaret V8P2 (SVN fishstick branch).

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi
Thanks for this feedback.
Did you check with the trunk instead of fishstick?
If the trunk present the same problem we should investigate it.
If not this means the changes made in fichstick is not fulle validated and then you should see with the branch owner

Christophe

Hi,

I just checked with the trunk, and I get exactly the same issue.
