Hi all,

I created one case by Fudaa-Mascaret. Since the code mascaret in Fudaa-Mascaret 3.6 (linux version) is no longer excutable, I exported all the files and launched the simulation with the compiled TMS code by cmd "mascaret.py wq.xcas". However, it reported an error saying "Downstream boundary condition # 2 is not of type cote imposee". It is weird since I do impose constant elevation as the downstream boundary condition. Hereafter attached the zip file of all the input files.

Here is the error information.

Fichiercas : FichierCas.txt

Looking forward to you reply.

Sounds there is a problem in your definition of boundary condition as in the wq.xcas file, the boundary condition type has the same type for both extremities...

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. The exported .xcas file seems not following the exact setups in Fudaa-Mascaret.
I modified <typeCond> in the .xcas file and computed again. This time it said " Abscissa X= 0.000 out of bounds".

Here is the .geo file. The abscissa does start from 0, why would the error occurred?

Probably a rounding problem in the definition of one or more parameters (mesh, friction zone ..)
