Hi all,

According to the User Conference, 1D sediment moudle is COURLIS which can be coupled with Mascaret. I have downloaded QGIS and installed it with the plugins preCOURLIS and MASCARET. The trick part is I couldn't find any user guide or application guide of preCOURLIS or COURLIS. May you please guide me to discover the materials of Courlis?
P.S. I have equipped with the knowledge of GAIA, however, the interest of our current project is 1D sediment.

Regards,

R.Wei

Hi,

Sorry for the late answer.
I am the main developer of COURLIS.

There is no documentations available yet for COURLIS and PreCourlis (sorry for that...).
We hope to deliver it before the end of the year for COURLIS.

For now, there is some test-cases that can be used as examples (I advise you to use the test-cases from the trunk/main branch of Telemac-Mascret : there was fixes in it since V8P2). You can also look at the dictionary file (sources/mascaret/data/dico_Courlis.txt) to see all the keywords available (but most of them are in French).
There is also python code for pre- and post-treatment and there are notebooks showing use cases.

For PreCourlis, I will try to add an example on the Github wiki (github.com/msecher/PreCourlis/wiki) this summer. Although, it is relatively simple to use and I can guide you eventually.

Which transport model of Courlis do you plan to use? Bedload or Suspension?

Best regards

Matthieu

Hi Mattheiu,

Sorry for the late reply.
We want to use both bedload and suspension. Luckily, I found one Courlis kit in gitlab which supplements more bedload equations. I much appreciate your contribution and thank you for your help.
