Hello Etienne,

1 : no, you can start pk from any value even a negative one. Please also see the importance of the 'cross section relative abscissa' option.

2 : no, but you can export only what is recorded when you specify the writing frequency of results. You may want to record results at each time step. In this case you may have poor performances of the computational kernel or memory problems with the GUI for reading the results.
