Hi,

I am trying to create a 1 dimensional flow case across a weir by using the example given in the application guide. When I come across the step for giving initial condition, I find that the item in "Hydraulics"->"Initial Condition" remains inactive. I tried opening various examples from the example directory, however the options still remains inactive.

Is it a bug or, is there any method to activate the "Initial Condition" item.
I am using Fudaa-Mascaret 3.3.

Hello gourish,

some bugs are identified in FM v3.3 with the network editor when creating a new model from scratch.

A new version (3.3.1) should fix these bugs and be available this week.

Meanwhile, try to save your case as a .masc file and re-open it. This can help.

Actually the initial conditions must remain inactive only if the steady computation kernel is selected.

Thanks for the reply.

Apparently I had selected steady computation kernel, due to which as you mentioned the initial conditions was coming inactive. I have now selected "super critical" computational kernel, and "initial conditions" got activated.
