open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I want to simulate the flow in a tidally affected river so I am using a tidal level as a downstream boundary condition.

When I run the model I have got a water level at the downstream boundary completely different from the input values?

I think the problem is in the initial condition (I.C.), so how can I estimate the I.C. for this case as I am using the transcritical kernal for the simulation.
