When I try to create mesh with matisse (action\calculer maillage), matisse said that 44 nodes will be cretated and when I click on "valider", matisse close automatically. it the command windows I can read :

ATTENTION: Rubens ne s'est pas arrete !

)

Nettoyage des fichiers temporaires :

Please try another simple case to see if it is related to a specific problem due to your test, and/or send your Matisse project in a zip file, including the *.txt file with bathymetric data.

As your message indicates that only 44 nodes should be created for your mesh it's possible that your criterion was too large for your domain. We know, by experience, that some crash appear when the mesh size is too big versus the domain size.
