Hi everyone!

I recently tried to launch matisse to edit a mesh but it doesn't work anymore. To be clear, this sofware works fine before the new year. I checked also some topics on the forum, but i didn't find a solution.

Then, I checked with a colleague the MATRUB files and we saw this file : sysprot.ini
(C:\TELEMAC\OUTILS\MATRUB\config)

[MATISSE]
Functions=32766
StartPeriod=2010/01/01
EndPeriod=2020/01/01
Ptype=18432
Hostid=10101010
Password=TEZB0hgrfyVHjosW

[RUBENS]
Functions=32766
StartPeriod=2010/01/01
EndPeriod=2020/01/01
Ptype=18432
Hostid=10101010
Password=Ge3sq5YPZFVHFqvO

It would seem that the licence of matisse and rubens expired. Do you have any information about this expired licence ? Thanks

Regards,

Julien F.

Hi Julien,

I've changed the date on my PC and it works.
Best regards

Hi

I just remember you that Matisse and Rubens are not maintained since 10 years!
So there will be no solution for this problem of expired licence.

Maybe it's time to take good resolutions for 2020 and start to use a new mesh generator / new visualization tool ...

Kind regards
Christophe

Hi,

I frequently work for applications in maritime, harbour and estuarine environments and I am interested in having your opinion on the choice of a good free mesh generator?
I have already tested BlueKenue, QGis plugins, Salome Hydro (still no official version by the way?), Janet (limited to 30,000 points), and I am still not satisfied with the quality of the meshes produced, especially for complex harbour configurations.

Even if Matisse is not as user-friendly as other softwares, I think that many people still continue to work with it for the quality of the generated meshes.

Thanks for your feedback.
