Dear Forum,

I have searched the forum, but didn't find the solution to my problem.

I have a 3D results file and I would like to present velocities at a different fixed heights and a couple of vertical cross sections in my canal.

POSTEL3D does produce results for a single height, however not for 2 or more. Also it doesn't produce any vertical cross sections at all. I went into the examples to see and test, I have the same problem there as well, only 1 horizontal file and no vertical file is created (or at least not copied from the work directory).

Please advice,

Patrick

Hi,

What version of Telemac are you using ?
because that was a bug present in some version.

However you can find your missing files in the temporary folder.
Add option -t to runcode.py to keep it. They will be named VERxxx and HORxxx.

Hi,

I'm using v8p1r1.

I'll give the option -t a try.

Thanks

I checked the source code and indeed this was solved later on.
It will be solved in the upcoming v8p2.
The -t option should do the trick in the mean time.

Thanks the -t option works.

I have to visualise it in BlueKenue 3.3.4 as 3.12.0 gives an error message for the cross-section file. (that's for another topic)
