open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi all,

following the interesting workshop on Q4TS during the conference, I tried to run the plugin on my Windows system (following the guide otm.gitlab-pages.pam-retd.fr/q4ts/user_manual/user_manual.html).
However, I cannot create a mesh, even when only giving a simple contour layer.

I have attached the prompt from Q4TS (error.txt), since there seem to be quite some errors and warnings and I don't know which one ultimately leads to failure.

Hi Frederik,

Q4TS requires at least Telemac V8P3, however it's even better to use the current development version (the main branch) since a patch has been made in April to fix an issue with Q4TS.

To compile Telemac under Windows, I highly recommend you to follow the procedure that I describe here: gitlab.pam-retd.fr/otm/wintel.

After that, your Telemac environment will be OK and Q4TS should run properly.
