open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I used postel3d to visualize the results (verticale section). When running postel3d of Telemac V6p3 gives reasonable (good) results, however using postel3d running on Telemac version V8p4 gives results that are not the same as the results from postel3d of Telemac version V6p3. I do not know why ???. Looking forward to your help.

Thank you for your very quick reply. I used telemac3d to simulate sludge discharge at a location near the coast of Da Nang, Vietnam and examine its spread (the results from running Telemac3d seem reasonable when viewed in 2D using BlueKenue). Also with this result file, when using postel3d in Telemac version V6p3, the mud distribution results on vertical sections seem very reasonable.

Thanks but could you show us the pictures of results which illustrate why you said there is a problem with v8p4

Thank you Mr. Coulet so much, I found the error. The program postel3d of version V8p4 reads the result file format differently than postel3d of version V6p3 when Telemac3d exports the 3D result file.
