(Late answer after 2 weeks of holiday...)

With Rubens there is (or used to be) a kind of batch mode to generate a series of images. It is in menu "outils" or "tools" at the bottom. The principle is that you save an image in format Rubens, and then this image will be produced at different times, then you are supposed to know how to animate this series of pictures...

I have not tried it recently and do not know if it works with Windows...

See Sections 1.5.12 "Animation" and 1.5.15 "Recording" in the manual. If the resulting size of the avi file is not a concern then set the "Quality" parameter to 100 and "Encoding" to MS Video1 for best results. Cheers... Martin
