open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear All,

I had started this topic before and had resolved my problem before but now I am in a different place and on a different machine.

I am trying to install the Telemac-to Tecplot conveter. I am using Windows 7 64 bit OS and Tecplot-2011-R2. From the forum beore with help of Fabien I had got visual studio solution for the utility and was sucessful in compiling it using VS-2008. I am following the exactly same step but in vain .

My question is, is there a revised and a robust version for my set of combination , i.e. VS-2008 + Windows 7 64 bit OS + Tecplot 2011 R2.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Dear All,

Just to let you know that I was able to solve the problem, apparantely the dll created from VS solution works with Tecplot 2011 R2 (32 bit) but not with Tecplot 2011 R2 (64 bit).

Kind of crazy but that's how it is :)

Not so crazy at all.
You cannot mix and match 32 and 64 bit executables and dlls.

In VS2008 open the project property pages and change the platform from "Win32" to "x64" to generate a 64 bit exe or dll.
