open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

Has any of you used GiD www.gidhome.com/ as pre/postprocessor for Telemac2D?

I ask it since in order to use it I have to create a problemtype for GiD 9.x and may be some of you had gone trough that already and can share the problemtype definition file with me;) and may be give me some advice /trick on how to use it properly with the aim of urban river flooding application.

As I know, there was no GID users in the telemac community (but it was before the free distribution).
I think the main problem will be in the file format of the mesh and/or the result.
Telemac use it's own file format (SELAFIN) for mesh and results and I suppose GID isn't able to read or write such files.

But the discussion is open and maybe someone could give us some new informations on this topic...
