open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

i'm a French student and i finish the installation of telemac; But i research where are the post and preprocessors like matisse and rubens. What are the methods to install matisse and rubens?

Hi Florian,

After logging in, you can look at
www.opentelemac.org/index.php/archive/vi...-pre-post-processors
and download the install_matrub after installing perl (prerequisite), e.g. strawberry perl. Go in the bin directory and run rubens.bat or matisse.bat
FYI, it is only available for Windows and as told in the short description "TELEMAC Consortium does not maintain these any more".
You also have manuals available there to help you.

If you start with TELEMAC, you are strongly advised to use other pre and post-processors like Blue Kenue on Windows (to generate the mesh and visualise the results) or FUDAA-PREPRO on every OS (as it is written in java) to visualise the results (then, please install a recent version of java and download FUDAA-PREPRO on sourceforge.net/projects/fudaa/files/prepro/).

I use linux as system; Also, the install_matrub can't use on linux.

Hi Florian,

As discussed elsewhere on this Forum, Blue Kenue can be run on LINUX by installing WINE.

This morning, i try to download blue kenue but on the website, we can't download it because the link is archived. I contact the National Research Council Canada which develop blue kenue in order to have different helps to make the download.

Already told:
Go in the bin directory and run rubens.bat or matisse.bat by clicking on it, e.g. in an explorator window.
Just be sure to have installed perl before (type perl -v in a DOS window)!

My data are .txt.
I put them in matisse: Data --> Import lines/points --> i put my file But then there is nothing that appears even when I press V

What is the problem? the format .txt?
