Dears all,

Hi! I am reading the v7p0 manual and it says that the library offers the use of 5 water quality (WAQ) processes but only 2 of them are implemented so far. Also says: the remaining processes will be added in the next release 7.1.

So, the question is, I can work with all WAQ in v7p1?

Yes, if you look into the V7P1 you will find a WAQTEL module with the 5 water quality processes.
Things changed as now you have to use the coupling between telemac and waqtel but some examples are available.

You can start with examples that you find in the folder examples/waqtel.
The using procedure described in the user manual is still up-to-date.

for your info the waqtel folder is not up on the svn site using the download command svn co svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v7p1r1/

the WAQTEL examples appear to be on the trunk only so I was able to get them from there

do I need to update the WAQTEL associated source codes also from the trunk?

Actully there are 2 examples but located at examples/telemac2d. One is dedicated to Oxygen (waq_o2) and the other deals with heat exchange with atmosphere (waq2d_thermic).

If you want much more examples in 2D and 3D, you can download the new release of telemac v7p2 which is being put together. This version will be the official new release in couple of weeks (we are still fixing some bugs).
As said by Christophe, the way of working has changed between v7p1 and v7p2 since Waqtel is now is separate module that can be called only using the classical coupling procedure (i.e. keyword COUPLING WITH ='WAQTEL')

I'm writing again in order to know about WAQTEL.

There is a user's manual for water quality modeling? If is not, there are new examples of water quality modeling that can help me to learn about it?

I was trying to work with WAQTEL in v7p1 but without a manual or examples that use all WAQ modules results impossible to me.
My huge interest is evaluate Phosphorus and Nitrogen in rivers and reservoirs.

There are a full validation folder for waqtel with 10 examples in which 5 examples are in 2D and 5 others in 3D.
The user manual of Telemac-2D and Telemac3D are up-to-date and users can easily start with to run Telemac2D and Telemac-3D coupled with Waqtel.
Moreover, there are a new example you can find in the trunk version which deals with the user of AED2 library.

Is there already an user manual for the micropol module(2D)? An example can be already found, but in the TELEMAC-2D manual user only a briefly description of it is included.
