open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I would like to know if somebody has experience in using Telemac3D to set up a hydrodynamic model of the whole lake. In my case I would like to set up a model of lake which is quite big with a size of around 200 m^2. So far I just used Telemac for modelling hydrodynamics at the open shore so I am not sure about its capabilities regarding in land lakes.
Moreover I need to model the nutrient transport inside the lake and wonder if there is any module which is capable of this operation.

200m² is more a swimming pool than a lake.
Nevertheless you could build up a Telemac3D model if you want. The mesh size will be quite small.
For the quality part, you could look waqtel, some model already exists but not necessary the one you want

Yes for hydro part, there is no problem to handle it with telemac-3D.
For the nutrient part, you can use WAQTEL and start with process EUTRO. If you need much advanced features, you can use AED2 library which is also included as a process in WAQTEL.

There is a brief description in the user manual of Telemac2d.
Otherwise, documentation can be obtained directly by running docTELEMAC.py -m=waqtel
