Hello everyone,

I am currently working with Telemac results and I am looking for a way to extract velocity information for all nodes in the flow field or specific grid nodes using MATLAB. Does anyone have any MATLAB code or scripts that could help with this task?

Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello,

A lot of work has been done for such treatments for years in the TELEMAC system... but in Python. Rather than implementing your own MATLAB scripts, maybe you can switch to Python.

You have notebooks to help, see $HOMETEL/notebooks
run jupyter-notebook index.ipynb

Otherwise, you can have a look at how it is implemented in $HOMETEL/scripts/python3 folder.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

If you want to read slf-files into matlab, search for telemac tools on the matlab file exchance. Or switch to python as Chi-Tuan suggests.

Hope that helps,
Patrick
