open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everyone,

I'm installing Telemac v8p4 throuth automatica installation. some posts indicated white space shouldn't exist in the installation path, so I created a new folder for it. But there is still an error as shown in the attached image. could you please give me some suggestions.

This is not an error message.
In your case, files with .py extension are open by default with a text editor instead of python.

In that case, the text editor open telemac2d.py !
Try to fix it and it should work.

Thank you for your advice. I followed the precedure in the post and deleted the itmes in the registry editor. But it still doesn't work.

From what we can see, your issue comes from windows... not telemac (no error message).

python telemac2d.py t2d_cone.cas

I don't understand why in your case t2d_cone.cas is not see as positional argument.
