Why are you asking for openssh?
You want to run telemac on a windows PC. This require perl to manage the simulation and Telemac program for the computation.
In your case, the problem comes from the perl script which generate some errors.
As I saw, your only have one perl interpreter so the other programs should not create problems for Telemac.

Hi

I am sorry if I couldn't pass my message...

For other reasons, I previously installed winGW and openssh. As for perl I just installed them because they were needed and do not know them very well. Since the path for the three is allocated to variable PATH, and since the perl script is generating some strange errors...I was asking if you think that there could be some kind of incompatibility among these applications.

Hi

As you suggested I tried to uninstall them, but still errors were generated... :(

Do you have other suggestions?

Sorry but no other idea
Eventually try to uninstall all (Perl and telemac)
and try to re install them.
First perl (v 5.10) and after telemac

Good luck

Hi,

Well, I don't know much about the "install_systel.bat" script.
But, I can help on how to install manually TELEMAC.

Would you like to send us your systel.ini file ?

1/
Looking at the one you posted 1 week ago, I don't see why the PERL section is uncommented nor filled up :

[PERL]
#PERLPATH=
#PERLLIB=

And it should be PERL5LIB instead of PERLLIB

Then, if you have chosen the Strawberry default directory, PERL section should look as follows :

[PERL]
PERLPATH=C:\strawberry\perl\bin
PERL5LIB=C:\strawberry\perl\lib

2/
%PATH% and %SYSTELCFG% must be exported in you environment

3/
Run from the DOS window (cfgmak mus be recognized if 2/ is ok)
> cfgmak
> makeall90

I hope it will somehow help you.

Best regards,

Fabien

Hi fabien

On windows, when you install strawberry perl, it's not necessary to fill the PERL section of systel.ini
I've made some test and it works perfectly without these lines.
As we decided to don't distribute perl in the telemac package it seems logical to don't define it.

In this case, perl is well recognize but there is a problem in the script when it tried to capture the directory information.

Hi

I think that the problem is that backticks are not working.

Not only in executing system commands:
e.g. $curDir=`cd`;
but also in executing perl scripts
e.g. $project=`getproject`;

Any suggestion?

@Fabien, Thank you for your post.

Hi,

=> Telemac : Ok, I didn't know. I have always

=> Delgado

Both hosttype and Project are empty (first lines in the caption).
And you're trying to launch Telemac directly from bin.
Did you configure and compile the whole system?

If not, I will suggest you to try the install_systel.bat script.
And you should also have a look to the installation note (available online in the download section)

Regards,

Fabien
