Hi is it possible to skip Blue Kenue and make the *.slf mesh in QGIS with Basemesh?

Basemesh has a great z interpolation feature, so I am wondering if this has been done by someone in Python yet?

Thanks very much, and happy Yule 2021.

Hi
It's possible to skip Blue Kenue and use other tools to generate a mesh. The only constraint is to write the mesh in selafin format (it's also possible to use the *.med format)
In the recent QGIS version, I read that MDAL could write selafin file but doesn't tested the functionnality for the moment.
Regards
Christophe

Hi,
I've used QGIS to modify a SELAFIN after it was generate by BlueKenue. It works great ! Be careful, all variables will be deleted.
I have not yet tested BASEMesh to generate a SELAFIN (tuto: hydro-informatics.com/numerics/basement.html).

I've spoken with V. Cloarec who implement mesh read and write in QGIS and it's not (yet) possible to create new variable and map values on a mesh in QGIS. It could be possible using C++ API.
