Hi all,
I run into this problem quite often and haven't found a workaround.
When I triangulate elevation data, I often get faulty bathymetry along contour lines that have been edited in BlueKenue. The main effect is that the BOTTOM is assigned a zero value along some line segments. I finally think I've pinpointed the problem.
If I assign a value (say 25) to a line with the Edit option, the following happens when I try to split it. The left-hand half of the original line retains its value (in this case 25) but the other half is reset to 0.
I have attached two *.i2s. The first one contains the original line with value set to 25. The second contains the split lines, one of which has seen its property assigned a 0.

On a simple example, it is pretty easy to locate and fix the 0 segments. But from experience, after a couple cut/paste/append/open/close line operations, it can be a mess to locate all the individual segments and fix their values. Perhaps I shouldn't edit my lines so much; I'm a perfectionist! Any help appreciated.
Regards,
