Hi everybody,

I work with bluekenue and i help me with the manual but i have this problem:

I have an old mesh in the serafin format. I obtained a new file of bathymetry and i want to complet my mesh with this new bathymetry.
Someone know how can i do? An example?

Thanks in advance

Hi Flo,

Create a new interpolator object using the new bathymetry as source and using "Tools->Map Object" map the values to the BOTTOM variable in your existing geo file.
Refer to the Blue Kenue tutorial for more detailed instructions.

Hope this helps... Martin

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your answer.
But i don't modify my mesh. I put my new bathymetry which will increase the size of the mesh.
i send you two pictures:
the first is my old mesh and the second picture shows you the old mesh with the new bathymetrie.
In this configuration, can i create a new interpolator?

Thanks
Florian

Hi
You want to extend your mesh so you should build a new mesh.
You could build a new mesh of the full area or try to keep your first mesh as a submesh in a new mesh of the extended area...

Hope this helps

PS: think to update your profile

Hi Flo,

If you saved the *.t3m file used to generate your old mesh, that's generally a better starting point.

However Christophes suggestion will work too.

Hope this helps... Martin
