Hello,

I am a new user of Blue Kenue and I am trying to create grid for specific area in the Nile river,I have read the manual tutorial for the mesher in Blue Kenue and is mentioned in this tutorial that I have to copy the data of the coordinates and also the boundary to generate Data_Contour.i2s and Data_bathy.xyz.
the question is after I do copy of the data mentioned above where I have to do (paste) for this data. How can i create this files to open it in blue kenue program.
really I need help to understand.
best regards

Hello,

Can you be more precise where you saw the copy / paste instruction in the Blue Kenue manual.

If you already have bathymetry and coastline, it would be better if you can either open the files (if you can fit these in the Blue Kenue native file formats) or if you import the files (from GIS or global database type formats).

Note that there is a tutorial on mesh generation with Blue Kenue that might help you further: Blue Kenue Tutorial, or form the developer of Blue Kenue, Martin Serrer: Blue Kenue @ NRC-CHC.

Hope this helps,
Sébastien.
