Hi everyone!

I started to use Bluekenue 2 months ago and i'm now trying to extract time series.
I created a pointset of 5 points, and took the ts5 file described in the Bluekenue tutorial. Once both of them opened in Bluekenue, when i select Tools->Extract time series, i'm enable to select "at Multiple points", other options neither.

Does anyone have an idea about how to fix my problem?

Thanks everyone for reading me and maybe answering

Hi,

You have to first select your temporal object (.slf or other) in the workspace and it should work.

Hi abernard

First thanks for your answer.

If I clearly understood, a .slf file is a file that makes the link between my pointset file and my time series file. Is that right?

Actually i don't have any .slf file since i'm not using telemac.
I thought it was possible to extract time series directly with a pointset and a .ts5 file in Bluekenue but probably it is not?

Thanks again

Sorry,

I was assuming that you were working with selaphin file (result file of Telemac).

I've never worked with .ts5 but what I mean is :

1 - Select your spatial time serie file = result file (it can be .t3s or .slf) in your workspace.
2 - Extract TimeSeries - at multiple points (you will be able to select your pointset)

.ts5 seems to be a time series so it will be hard to extract a time serie from a time serie

No problem, my (beginner) mistake.

Then my question is:

Assuming that i already have my time series file (*.ts5) and my point set (*.xyz), How can i display it on Bluekenue?

Thanks again

.xyz can be display using 2d View or 3d View.

In this case you just have to open a new window and to drag your object.

For .ts5, you can open it with a text editor or right click on it "view as table" or you can use 1d view (x axis will be the time)

Then there is no possibility to create kind of a video? With my 5 points changing of values and colors at each time step?

Never seen this feature so you will have to wait for a developper answer.

Hi Raphaël,

It is not possible to create an animation as you describe directly from the objects you have. (xyz and ts5)

However it IS possible to create an animation of point data in a pcl file (see the section on Parcel Sets in Appendix A, pg 175)
So you'll have to write some code to convert the contents of the xyz and ts5 files to a pcl file.

Hope this helps... Martin
