Hello

Maybe this is a silly question :) But I'll ask it anyway !
How to generate a t3m project from a selafin (or even a t3s) file. I would like to edit the mesh (for example change a density or add a hard line). To do this, I need to have all the fields of a
Capture.png

T3s mesher (see figure)

I tried to insert the slf file to the submesh field but this option do not let BK take into account for hardline

Sorry if this question looks obvious for some experts (and even less experts) users

with my best regrads

Hi Riadh,

The quick answer is there is no way to generate a mesh specification (t3m object) from an existing mesh. It's like asking to produce the individual ingredients (eggs, milk, flour etc.) from a cake.

That being said, not all is lost.

You can recover the outline and islands via
"Tools->T3 Mesh->Extract Edges (Shorelines)"

You can recover an aggregation of the original density objects via
"Tools->T3 Mesh->Extract Edge Lengths"

However, the hard/soft lines, hard points and submeshes are lost.

If you wish to adjust a particular region of the original mesh you can
cut a hole in it, use the outline of that hole as the outline of a new mesh
(with the resample outline turned off) and then subsequently merge
your new section back into the original mesh.

Use:
Edit->T3 Mesh->Delete Elements in Polygon
Tools->T3 Mesh->Extract Edges (Shorelines)
Edit->T3 Mesh->Merge Mesh...

Cheers... Martin
