TOPIC: How to batch extract values in a specific close line from results

How to batch extract values in a specific close line from results 2 years 2 months ago #41066

Hi all,

I am currently running Telemac-2D simulation for a river. I have already obtained around 30 simulated results (.slf) which contain water depth, flow velocity, bed evolution, etc. However, I would like to extract such values in a specific area (close zone) at the last time step of my simulated results. I know I can manually do it but it is very time-consuming. I am wondering if I can do it through Python scripts to batch extract such values.

Yes, you could use python scripts
Look into the notebooks where some example of extractions are available

Dear Coulet,

Thank you for your help. I have already known how to extract data from my results. However, if I would like to extract the data in a specific area, for instance, a close polygon, how can I do it in Python? Do I need to add some coordinates information?
