Hi,

that was also my thought. So basically almost nothing happened since there are a lot of differences in the manual and the new version.
I'm now starting from zero and are not really sure how to begin :( .

Hi
Start from scratch with the latest version of Telemac and try to follow the linux model for the sequential version of Telemac.
When this first step will be achieve, you will be able to try to configure the parallel version.
This is probably in this configuration that you will have some problems as it needs external tools (Metis, MPI ...)
So choose a linux config file for the sequential mode and create your Mac config file and try to compile telemac.

I tried my best but I guess I'm stuck from the start.
I downloaded all the sources and scripts and tired to use the ubuntu.cfg but as soon as I start using the VIM command nothing happens.
I found this here, but the link is not working anymore.

I guess it would be easier to run it with VirtualBox.

Once you select and adapt a config file you should compile Telemac with the python script CompileTELEMAC.py
Did you try this?

No i did not since I can not even select and adapt the config file, because the VIM operator in the terminal does not really work like it should be. I can enter the things which would select and adapt the config file, but nothing happens. I even do not get any failure message.

Ohh I just realised that vim is another editor in the terminal like nano, which explains all.
I will try everything again and give an update.

Hello again,

I tried to install it with following along this instructions.
Since there Metis is installed before Telemac, I get some problems from there. I can not run the make command for metis. Should I just jump over?
