Hello everyone,

Im quite new to the telemac system. I am trying to simulate tidal currents using the OSU-TPXO solution. the problem is that the geometry model is built in a national lambert grid (other than french ones) and I dont know how to convert to a system adequate to the one used by TPXO.

Many thanks

Hi
The easiest way is to convert your model to a coordinate system already available in telemac.
If you're motivated, you could extend the capacities of Telemac by adding your own coordinate system but it needs some fortran developements...

I guess it's a matter of version,

I worked with the cartesian coordinates in the UTM projection and it worked fine.
