Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on a project where I try to simulate the hydrodynamic of a river in Vietnam. I have a coordinate file with river's depth, a file of water level and flow. How can I make these files become input?

I'm able to create the required files for input (as Baxter tutorial said). But I don't know exactly what to be concluded in the *.cas file and how to fully simulate the hydrodynamic.
What should I do now?

Thank you in advance!

PS: *.txt file contains coordinates and depth; excel file contains water level and flow.

Hello,

For the topography file, you just need to add in your *.cas file:

BOTTOM TOPOGRAPHY FILE : name of your file here

This file accepts comments beginning by C and is read by subroutine FOND.f in library BIEF.

As for a file of water levels and flows, you can inspire from the example called 'culm', there is an example of LIQUID BOUNDARIES FILE, see the file t2d_culm.qsl. The only thing to know is the rank of every of your liquid boundaries, which is the order of appearance in the BOUNDARY CONDITIONS FILE.

With best regards,
