Clemens,

If you're sure that the test cases run all fine (with identical results as provided), try successively your own case in the same way :
1) first T2D alone,
2) then T2D-SIS and T2D-TOM
3) and lastly T2D-TOM-SIS

Take care to try sequential and parallel versions at each step.

Hi Laurent,

I tried all files.
1) T2D works without issues
2) T2D+TOM works without issues
3) T2D+SIS creates errors which I can not explain. Both in parallel and sequential.

Attached are both error files.

What could be the issue?

Regards
- Clemens

It seems you have missing wave variables passing to Sisyphe during the coupling procedure.
Please take a look to the 'littoral' case in the examples database.

Hi Pablo,

I can not really see something what could cause the problem.
I attached the Sis and Tom file in any case.

Could the initial conditions cause the problem?

Hello,
To make sure that you don't have issues with the compilation, please try to run the test case "littoral" available in the Sisyphe's examples database.
If OK, use this case and carefully take a look of missing things in your cas files. I suspect you're missing the call to TOM from T2D...

Hope it helps,

Pablo

Hi Pablo,

I already did run the "littoral" example and it worked fine. I did check everything and can not see any issues.
Attached all three config files.
Like said before I can not really see any problem.

Thanks you for your help.

Hi Clemens,

If the previous error you mentioned appears in running a T2D-SIS simulation, it's normal as you're using the Soulsby-Van Rijn transport formulation that requires waves data. For this 2-way coupling test, you can just switch to the Meyer-Peter (BED-LOAD TRANSPORT FORMULA=1, with EFFECT OF WAVES=NO) for instance and see what's happen.

For the 3-way coupling, I saw in your sisyphe steering file that you're also resolving the suspension transport by the explicit formulation. The Soulsby-Van Rijn transport formulation already includes the suspension transport contribution. Try to turn off the explicit suspension, or use a formulation that deals only with bed load effect (7, Van Rijn).

I hope it helps,

Laurent

Hi Laurent,

I tried it and get a similar error. Moreover I tried the with turning of explict suspension and get a error as well. I attach the output file.

Clemens
