Hello,

I am trying to run a 3way coupled model (T2d, Tomawac, Sisyphe) on a Supercomputer using the Intel MPI.
The machine is based on CentOS.
When running the model in my local machine everything works fine, but it takes very long. When I start the model in the supercomputer I get the following error (see attached file).
What could be the reason for this behavior?
Is it even possible to run TELEMAC on a kind of this computer?

Hi,

Yes, it should be possible.
Did you first try to run a test case on this machine ? both sequential and parallel modes.

Laurent

Hi Laurent,

Yes I did but also the test cases did not work.
Could you maybe provide the config files which are needed for installation for a CentOS 7 system?

Clemens

Which test case did you try? and what is the error?
As Pablo suggests, try first a T2D test case and then a coupled test case?

It is called "bumpflu".
Is there a test case which has coupled T2d with Sis?

and what is the error message when you try running it? in sequential and in parallel.
No need to try a coupled test case while T2D alone is not ok.

Did your compilation step well ended ?

Hi Laurent,

I am not in charge for installations on the supercomputer so I can not tell if it went fine, but I assume so.
Just got a message that they compiled it again using the intel compiler now the T2d testcase works without any issues.
Therefor I would like to try a coupled one, could you recommend one?

You can try "sandpit" for instance, for a coupling T2D-SIS.
And then you can test the 3 way coupling with "littoral" test case.
(in sisyphe example directory).

Hej Laurent,

the testcases worked well but my case still does not work. Not sure why since it is running on my stationary machine without any issues.

Attached is the stdout file. Would be great if you could take a look at it.

Thanks a lot

Clemens

Hello,
Try first to run your problem with a T2D simulation, then T2D+SIS to see what's going on.
