Hello
When I run my model, I do not see any changes in the output as an animation
And I get the wrong time series,I went all the steps step by step..
I changed the geographic area of the region
I still do not know where the problem is
In the geographic system, mesh, borderline data, or case switches
My area is Persian Gulf and my input data is UTM
GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM : 2
ZONE NUMBER IN GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM : 2
Did I choose the correct switches?
Can you please help me and say where the problem is?

Hello,

The Persian Gulf is not located in UTM zone number 2, that is why you don't have any prescribed conditions on your model boundary. You have to set the ZONE NUMBER IN GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM in agreement with the UTM projection zone number of your mesh.

The value of COEFFICIENT TO CALIBRATE SEA LEVEL (=5.6) is also not appropriate.
And with tidal simulations, I advise you to use advection scheme 13 or 14.

I hope it helps.

Regards,
Laurent

Hi
ZONE NUMBER IN GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM is the keyword dedicated for this purpose.

If you have any doubt, you could look into the Telemac2d.dico file.
All the existing keywords are described...

ZONE NUMBER IN GEOGRAPHIC SYSTEM = desired zone number
Use spheroid WGS84

Hi,

I think you're confusing between the reference ellipsoid and the zone number of the utm projection.

WGS84 is the reference ellipsoid, commonly used worldwide in cartography, geodesy, satellite navigation (GPS)... The previous ones were WGS72, 66 and 60, but no 39... other popular (old) ones were ED50, GRS80, NAD88, ETRS89.

Associated to this ellipsoid, you can define projections as UTM ones, defined by longitudinal zones. And Persian Gulf seems to be in the zone number 39 as illustrated below:
