open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello Telemac2D,

We used to slightly modify and recompile Telemac to be able to run it with a lot of sources (v8p1r2).
Until now, everything work on different machines.

We bought a new machine that run through a VM under W10.
Telemac is successfully installed and work (we tried exemples and our own model).

Now I modify MAXKEYWORD in declaration_special.F and complile --clean (as ususal). We need a lot of source (>1000) and we usualy put MAXKEYWORD = 3000.
I found that I can increase MAXKEYWORD until 655. More than that, the model fail at the begining. Same error in scalar or parallel.

Please fine attached the log, with is not clear about the error. Does anybody have an idea to solve that ?
Is there any mean to have a more detailed log ?

You could compile with debug option and run with gdb if no clear information is added when you run the computation

Can you explain me what MAXKEYWORD is exactly? I can imagine :
- number of KeyWords in the CAS file (PROCESSEURS PARALLELES is one, DUREE DU CALCUL is antoher one, etc...) ?
- each time there is a ";" in the CAS file (OPTION DE SUPG =0;0;0;0 means 4 or 5 KeyWord ? If I have 10 injections, I have NUMEROS GLOBAUX DES NOEUDS DES SOURCES = 399402;546684;525017;445716;451250;425959;424725;375692;351305;472985 so 10 KeyWord ?)
- Does the number of BUSE count in MAXKEYWORD ?
- Does the number of condition count ?

I would like to figure out were I can go with a MAXKEYWORD = 655 ...

I met the similar problem with you.I failed when the maxkeyword is great than 500.
For 450,every things work well.
Do you solve this problem? what makes the error occur?

Changing MAXKEYWORD value impose to have a full clean compilation...

Yes, I also edit the cfg file.
I change the follow options.
module: clean system

Also possible without changing cfg file by just specifying --clean in the compilation command

So the problem is not the clean compilation.
I used clean copmpilation by changing the cfg file. And telemac went wrong when the maxkeyword is greater than 500.

with which message?

The same as the poster eranwC showed.No specific error showed.
