open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi everyone,

I using the data from TPXO9_atlas_v5, which has 15 constituents. Then I don't know how to set the value for the keyword "BINARY DATABASE 1 FOR TIDE" and "BINARY DATABASE 2 FOR TIDE". Should I merge all the constituents into one file before using it?

In addition, do I need to merge u and v data when setting "BINARY DATABASE 2 FOR TIDE"? Or just choose u data file?

Your suggestion is helpful, but unfortunately, my study area crosses two local solutions, the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Then the dataset TPXO9v5a may be my best choice, but it can offer lower resolution in coastal areas than the dataset TPXO9_atlas_v5.

Can I use the script, tpxo_atlas2local.m from the TPXO website, to generate the correct input file?
I can't get this answer, because this approach seems wrong from your mentioned post. I'm not sure.

Hello again,

The good thing to read in the topic is especially to ask for the "compact format" to Oregon State University of the TPXO9v5 and in binary format. That is what is expected by TELEMAC and can be let available by OSU.
