TOPIC: Verification of the results

Verification of the results 1 year 2 months ago #43352

Hi everyone
I simulate tidal current flow in telemac2d and I want to verify my results. However, I could not find any way to derive the results as a form of tables or graphs because my simulation is time dependent.

Is there any chance that some one could hemp me with this issue?

Best,
Maliheh

Have you tried opening your results in a tool that supports what you are looking to achieve?

Full disclosure; I'm the current main developer for the Windows tool called Blue Kenue (BK). Maybe using BK could help you get to where you want to go...

Kindly,
Alan

That is a very general question and it depends on exactly which object is selected in Blue Kenue's WorkSpace. If, for example, you select a Table Object, then you would be able to Save A Copy to a CSV file that can be directly loaded in a lot of other software.

In general, I'd suggest you select the object of interest in your WorkSpace and then use the menu item "File > Save Copy As..." to explore what is possible. You may also need to create new objects depending on the specific task you are attempting to accomplish.

Kindly,
Alan

Hello Maliheh,

As Alan has suggested, there are tools available to post-process classical operations you wrote.

In addition to Blue Kenue, you can find other names by reading the TELEMAC-2D user manual available here:
wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=documentation_v8p4r0
See e.g. section 1.2: FUDAA-PREPRO, Janet, ParaView, Tecplot, QGIS. You can also use Python scripts directly available with the TELEMAC-MASCARET sources.

Hope this helps,

Thank you very much Chi6Tuan.

I have tried Blue Kenue and I am going through other software to see whether they are more straightforward or not.

Best,
Maliheh
