open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,
I am currently using Telemac2D version v6p2 for hydrodynamic modeling of lakes and I want to simulate the water quality processes in lakes. Is there an option in telemac 2d for modeling water quality ? For example I want to study the DO concentrations in lakes. So is there any option to simulate that? I came across something called waqtel in the doxy docs section in your website but I did not understand how to use it. And I could not find anything about it in the manuals. Kindly help me with this.

A water quality process dedicated to DO was recently added to version V7P0. You need to upgrade your working version in order to use it.
In the new user manual and in the release note of V7P0 release, there is a detailed description about theory and use of these features.

Can you tell me where to download it from. I need telemac2d. I could find " Automatic installation: fudaa_mascaret_3.5 Version:v7p0" in the installation files but I do not want to use fudaa. I am running my model using the cas file in command promt. Please guide me from where to download version 7 and also the manuals

I am having some doubts regarding installation. I had installed telemac2d v6p2 earlier using automatic installer downloaded from the telemac site. I am finding it bit difficult and confusing to follow the instructions of manual installation since the instructions are given with respect to v6p2. Also I am not able to get the source codes of v7 from the repository. I had just replaced the link provided in the site with v7p0 (svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v7p0/) and it is not found on the server. Can you please help me with the installation? My knowledge in this area is very little.

just download the latest version of the automatic installer and run it. It should install everything for you.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the link. I installed version 7 using the link and downloaded the source codes separately. I cannot find a pytel directory for telemac in the folders I downloaded.
In the installation procedure it is mentioned to add
pytel directory to the path. What am I supposed to do?

Hi,
This is what happened after I ran the following command: svn co svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v7p0r0 "C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v7p0" --username ot-svn-public --password telemac1*
From the DOS prompt.
When I ran the command compileTELEMAC.py , it is showing not recognised as internal external command. There are red cross on all the subfolders in v7p0 folder. I dont know were I went wrong. Please help me out.
