Hello

Do you know if we can insert results of TELEMAC3D in QGis.
It seems that it's possible with the plugin PostTelemac version v2.0 but I don't find this version of this plugin in the extension of QGis (version 3.16).
Thanks

Hi
This plugin is no longer maintained
But you normally should be able to directly open selafin results as mesh data in Qgis as this format is supported.
By the way, I don't know how the 3D results are managed

Thank you for this information.
Effectively, I can directly open selafin results. For 3D results, there is one QGIs layer for each time step, and in each QGis layer, there is the results for all depth layers.

Hi,

Latest version of PostTelemac is 1.2.1 and is available for Qgis 3.16 and above : plugins.qgis.org/plugins/PostTelemac/version/1.2.1/

Even if no longer maintained, I use it almost every day and most of features still work on QGIS 3.30.

Mesh have greatly improved since QGIS 3.16, you should consider upgrading your QGIS version.

Reading this I get the impression that a 3D Selafin file is working in QGIS?

I did not manage to get that working with neither the Mesh-layer functionality, nor the PostTelemac plugin.

Did I misinterpret that you are talking about 3D Selafin files?

Yup, have an error with both MDAL (QGIS) and PostTelemac (and as said above, it's not maintained any longer).

Nfremy may have open the result file via drag and drop on QGIS and select polygon. Which is equivalent to open the selafin file with GDAL and not MDAL.

3D SELAFIN might not be supported at the moment.

Hello

Yes, we usually use the version 1.2.1 of PostTelemac on QGis v3.16, but it doesn't read the results files of TELEMAC3D.
And yes, I have opened the results file via drag and drop on QGIS, and I have selected the points layers. And it's OK with results files of TELEMAC3D.
