Hello,
i have downloded the "Automatic installation: opentelemac-windows Version:2 latest versions"

i have installed every components except those two :
1)mpich2.
2)Metis Libraries.

When i select them and further continue on the setup, i get this error:

Hello again,

Thanks for your answer. I'm not behind any proxy in my installation, i 've managed to solve the problem by starting the setup without the prerequies which were allready installed and everything went well.

Now that i'm trying to install the software, i'm facing other problems, the automatic installer failed and i have followed the manually installation using the CMD, 2 new icons are in my Desktop TELEMAC v8p0 and TELEMAC v8p0 parralel

I've lanched the TELEMAC v8p0 and edited the path to:
C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /E:ON /V:ON /K set SYSTELCFG=C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p0\configs\systel.cis-windows7.cfg && PATH=C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p0\scripts\python27;!PATH!

Because there was no systel.cfg in the config folder.

once again i'm starting having problems with cmd, i've copied the errors:
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p0>compiletelemac.py

Hello,
Make sure you have the '-cpp' pre-processor flag in your 'cmd_obj_c'.
For example:
cmd_obj_c: gcc -cpp -c <srcName> -o <objName>

The cfg files in config folder are examples of various installations (Linux, Windows, HPCs etc). You take the most appropriate for your installation type and modify (save as recommended) it to your needs. Then, during compilation, specify it using the '-f' flag. For example:
compile_telemac.py -f O:\trunk\configs\systel.cfg

Just to precise
-cpp should be in cmd_obj and not in cmd_obj_c because it applies to fortran compilation

Hello Christophe,
I think you got it the other way round.
I am working with '-cpp' in 'cmd_obj_c' only for some time now and it works fine.
For example, this is taken from systel.edf.cfg, line 153.
cmd_obj_c: gcc -c [cflags] <srcName> -o <objName>
No '-cpp' flag anywhere in 'cmd_obj'.

It's still not working for me.

I've edited 2 lines in systel.cis-windows7.cfg like the following picture:

You need to run compilation with the option --clea.
