open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

With the help of my colleagues, it seems there are some unknown strings in the file 'fudaa-mascaret.sh'. So my colleague use the command 'cat fudaa-mascaret.sh' to filter the unknown commands, then copied the filtered lines and created a new .sh file. Additionally, he removed the quotation marks of '--"no_corba" '. So the final version of .sh file is:

#!/bin/sh
# Lancement de Fudaa-Mascaret

# A modifier suivant l'installation du JDK.
JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64/jre

# A modifier suivant la version de Fudaa-Mascaret
JAR=fudaa-mascaret.jar

$JAVA/bin/java -cp "/usr/local/Fudaa-Mascaret/$JAR" org.fudaa.fudaa.mascaret.Mascaret --no_corba $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7 $8 $9

Then with the command 'sh xx.sh', the interface of fudaa-mascaret popped out.

Good to see you found a solution
By the way, I would advise you to use Mascaret by using the dedicated plugin available in QGIS (look for Mascaret in the extension)

Thank you for your reply. I have installed QGIS and installed Mascaret in the plugins session as well. As you may know, I'm new to Mascaret and QGIS, may I ask if there is any user guide regarding QGIS-Mascaret?
When I tried to create a new project of Mascaret in QGIS, it reported errors like [Running Create Layers and Tables...
There is no opened connection! Use "connect_pg" method before running query.].
Relevant search work has been down, unfortunately I could barely dig any further information up.

Additionally, the user guide of Fudaa_Mascaret is in French, how could I find an English version? I followed the application guide of Fudaa-Mascaret and tried to reproduce the water quality case, while it couldn't run and no corresponding error messages popped out. Anyway, it could be very frustrating at the starting stage. I'll try to repeat the procedures, hopefully this time it will work. :)

For the Qgis Plugin, you cold have a direct access to the plugin wiki but unfortunately, the most part of this document is in french.
Nevertheless, the installation part is also available in English so this could helps you to at least have a Qgis/Mascaret system which works...

There is no other guides available in English, sorry about that. The translation is in our todo list
