Hi all,

I'm trying to use the Mascaret plugin in QGIS software, but there's some errors : This is the problem after click on "run" button.

========== Run case =========
Run = Steady ; Scenario = ; Kernel= steady

Simulation Error: there aren't results
Simulation finished

By the way, where should we place the "boundary conditions" and what's the meaning of "method" in extremities ?

I'm also facing a boring porblem that the QGIS in Ubuntu is likely to shut down itself (especially using Mascaret plugin), does anybody know what happened with my QGIS ?

It could be great to have a look at the listing computation file, in the mascaret directory of the plugin...
Boundary conditions should be placed at the nodes which represent the boundaries.
The method allows you to choose between an event (a law with a time reference) or a simple law like a stage discharge curve ...

Here is my files generated by QGIS.

Actually I've read the help document in wiki but sometimes I cannot understand what to do and where to do (e.g. where to set the initial condition as Fudaa).
I want to test a steady case and in QGIS and it seems hard for me to achieve it. I've tested these files with terminal and there still isn't results.

Some parameters for mesh and planimetrage are not well defined and then the xcas file is wrong.
Manual correction allow the computation to run well.
I changed

Line 152:
        <numDerProf>1</numDerProf>
to
        <numDerProf>2</numDerProf>

Line 161:
          <numDerProfPlage>1</numDerProfPlage>
to
          <numDerProfPlage>2</numDerProfPlage>

Line 162:
          <pasEspacePlage>100.0</pasEspacePlage>
to
          <pasEspacePlage>1.0</pasEspacePlage>

and Line 203:
        <nbProfils>2</nbProfils>
to
        <nbProfils>0</nbProfils>

Hard to say where the problem is on the data without the database...
