Dear all,

Is anybody know how to obtain the 1D view from a 2D mesh in Blue kenue? For example, I want the see a crosssection of the 2D geometry. I don't know how to see the 1D view from it. I also try to find it in reference manual, but haven't found the solution.

Dear harryyao,

In BlueKenue, the procedure I follow is :
  1. Define a "new OpenLine"
  2. Resample this line (should be close to minimal mesh size)
  3. Select your sub-object ("Resampled new OpenLine") and select "Tools > Map Objects" and select the variable you want to extract
  4. Create a "New 1D View"
  5. Visualize your new 3D section (SURFACE LIBREXSection)

PS : the points outside the mesh will have value equal to 0.

Hope it helps,
Luc

Note:

The points outside the mesh no longer have a value of zero in the most recent Blue Kenue. The value should now be the NoDataValue; typically -999.

This means that displaying the cross-section in a 1D View should also be improved.

Kindly,
Alan
