I would like to thank you for the previous help which saved a lot of my time. I wanna ask how to see the free surface or flow depth over the domain or bathymetry as 3D means showing in solid instead or just surface or just sheet flow?

I was just wondering if anyone here has the Tecplot 2014 plugin for serafin files for 64bit Windows 7? The files we are working with are very large and doesn't load correctly with the older plugin.

Thank you for your interesting questions. Sorry for my late answer, I was abroad with no internet connection.

Sumit, Tecplot Inc, is currently working on leveraging the latest performance capabilities within the add-on development kit (ADK). They found a bench of interesting new features to implement, such as subzone-load on demand. Tecplot wishes to have the ADK compliant with the previous versions, i.e. to be able to update add-ons just by recompiling them with the new library. As soon as the new ADK in finished, we will make a new loader available. I will keep you in touch regarding it.

Amanj, from what I understood from TELEMAC 3D results data (r3d_XXX.slf files), you have only the surfaces written. Please note that if you wish to have 3D visualization, it will be interpolated from your surfaces by Tecplot.
There is many ways of visualizing 3D data. For example, you can set a slice on your Y axis, extract this slice (Data->Extract->Current Slices / Slices over time), seed streamtraces on it, display vectors…
Please let me know which features are of interest for you.

Wayne, please find the latest loader for Tecplot 2013 on windows 7 enclosed in the post #14326 of this topic (Page 3). Let me know if you this works better for you.

Dear Antoine,

I have my data from the result of Telemac2d and I loaded into Tecplot. I want to show or animate the surface flow with bathymetry or bed surface at the same time and also I want to show the surface flow as volume or solid instead of surface as well as for bottom or bed surface i wanna have solid which is starting from zero and extended to the crest of the embankment which is 0.28m. when I go to the zone style, it shows only one zone while for each time step i have a zone which is shown in time strand.

I have one more question also, if I want to find maximum discharge during overtopping the embankment, what is the best method to do this? I have only U and V at every point.

I have recently loaded the latest version of TECPLOT, Tecplot 360 EX 2014 R2 (64 Bit)

is there a TELEMAC add on available for this version of TECPLOT ?

Dear Som,

Tecplot is working on updating the Add on Development Kit (ADK) in order to enable add on to leverage the subzone load-on-demand technology.

This will hopefully be available in the 2015 R2 version, planned for the end of March.

The add on is currently functional with the last release of Tecplot 360: 2013 R1.

I will keep you in touch as soon as we will be able to port it on Tecplot 360 EX.
